Analogical Arguments

Directions: First state in the space below the schematic form of an analogical argument. Second, read the analogical argument in the passage below and substitute the entities and properties in your schematic analogical argument form.

 

Smith, Jones, and Brown were observed to have whitish lips, pale complexions, and white fingernails. They were subsequently found to have low blood iron levels. Johnson also has whitish lips, a pale complexion, and white fingernails. So, I would guess that Johnson is probably somewhat anemic also.
