How to Read the Daily Schedule

Note: The following assignment schedule is subject to revision and is intended to be a general guide to the assignments this semester. The assignment written on the whiteboard at the beginning of each class takes precedence over this schedule.
As the semester progresses, for the most recent version of our class schedule, check the homepage of this course. If an update is available, the version number will be a number higher than Version 1.0.
In the ``Date" column, the number after T (Tuesday) or R (Thursday) is the number of the class, counting from the beginning of the semester. In the Class Topic column, the subjects covered by that day's class are listed, together with important due dates for assignments, quizzes, and tests. The Assignment column lists the day an assignment is assigned, not the day the assignment is due.
If you have questions about the assignment schedule, contact your instructor or post your questions to the mwforum Message Board.
For easy access to the assignments, use the hyperlinks on the html version of the assignment schedule accessible from the Oriental Philosophy homepage. The hyperlinks in the pdf version will work in many browsers also.

The entry ``Notes'' refers to the online notes under ``Course Topics'' at this URI:

The abbreviation REP is the online textbook Readings in Eastern Philosophy available in pdf and html at this URI:
