These fallacy exercises incorporate the standard set of informal fallacies that most logic textbooks cover. Here, informal fallacies are divided into fallacies of relevance and fallacies of presumption. Fallacies of relevance include: ad ignorantiam, ad hominem, ad populum, ad misericordiam, ad baculum and ignoratio elenchi (irrelevant conclusion). Fallacies of presumption include: petitio principii (circular argument), complex question, false cause, accident, and converse accident. |
